OGC Post Award Manager
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Research Administration, Business, Health Care, Public Administration or related field. (Required)
Minimum Work Experience
6 years Required: Six years of progressive experience in grants or contracts related to biomedical research, and/or healthcare/medical programs and services. (Required)

Certified Research Administrator (CRA) 1 Year (Required)
Functional Accountabilities
Staff Supervision
- Supervises daily tasks for GCS, Sr. GCS, and Lead GCS staff
- Approves time and vacation requests for GCS staff in PeopleSoft
- Provides front-line guidance to GCS staff in interpreting institutional and sponsor policies
- Oversees OGC staff meetings, including preparing agenda, taking notes, tracking follow-up, developing focused training or grants policies reminders
Office of Grants and Contracts Operations
- Participates in meetings related to BearGrants operations; maintains deep functional knowledge of BearGrants software
- Monitors award deliverables and actions in BearGrants and proactively identifies problem submissions; works with Director as needed, or independently, to communicate to CRI/CNMC leadership and PIs to resolve specific proposal problems
- Supports DoGC in troubleshooting current procedures, developing new procedures, and periodically reviewing institutional policies and procedures
- Tracks and reports on metrics related to proposal submissions
- Tracks and reports on metrics related to sponsored projects; responsible for the efficient and timely setup of internally and externally funded awards.
Develop and Train GCAF staff
- In collaboration with other GCAF staff, may deliver training to GCAF staff and faculty and their support staff.
